Kicking & Screaming & Howling @ The Moon

A man I know
who has a very long
beard and
a shaved head
and furry back
told me that
you can't hide from it.
I reckon he's right about
that.
Sin makes the man
once the sin is made
by the man
and then the man
can no longer be
just a man
but a man filled up
just a little bit
with that sin
he made with his
hands
or his head
or his heart,
and then the man
is but his sin.
You can't hide from it
he says.
I think probably he knew
what he was
saying at the time,
though now he's
probably drunk
on cheap tequila
in a back alley street
somewhere
just
waiting
for
tomorrow.
