Michael R. Walker is a Texas State University alumni who studied Archaeology and Fiction.
He enjoys observing all the glories of nature and the subsequent beasts of the field. Rock climbing and hiking and kayaking are his methods of keeping the fat off his mid-section. Dark beers and good wines and mellowed whiskey are his methods of applying fat to his midsection. Coupled with a healthy appetite for Italian/Mexican food and an unwavering coffee addiction, Michael plans to continue his writing post-graduation in hopes that publishers will become people he has to forcibly turn down. But until that day, Michael keeps a collection of his rejection notices next to his bed and reads them every night while he weeps and sings along to the New Kids on the Block greatest hits album.
He has every intention to continue traveling for the remainder of his existence, taking note of all the absurdities of humans throughout the world. Michael is a web developer/marketing associate for a start up in Austin. He also plays the banjo.
Anyway, Michael hopes you enjoy his writing, and even if you don't enjoy his writing, fuck you.
Stick around and read some. You'll find a myriad of wild and out-of-control things to indulge.
